FAQ
Before reaching out to support, you may find your answer here. These are the questions we hear most frequently from customers, suppliers, and companies evaluating the platform.
Account and registration
Do I need an account to browse products? No. The full product catalog, specifications, and datasheets are available without registration. Account access is required when submitting a quote request.
What do I need to register? Stage 1 registration requires four fields: phone number, company name, full name, and an OTP verification. That is enough to browse and submit quote requests. Stage 2 (trade license and company email) is requested later when your first quote progresses toward an order.
Can multiple people use one company account? Yes. HyperQuote supports multi-user accounts with role-based access from day one. You can add buyers, approvers, and site managers to your company account, each with appropriate permissions.
I placed phone orders before registering. Will I see that history? Yes. When you register with the phone number your sales representative has on file, the system links your new account to your existing order history. All previous orders, invoices, and delivery records appear in your portal.
Quotes and pricing
Why are there no published prices? Building material prices in Egypt fluctuate daily based on supply and demand. A published price would be inaccurate within hours for commodities like steel and cement. The quote-based model ensures you always receive current, competitive pricing from verified suppliers.
How fast will I receive a quote? The target is 4 hours during business days (Sunday through Thursday). For items with fresh supplier pricing in the system, quotes can be prepared while you are on the phone with your sales representative.
How long is a quote valid? Validity depends on material type: 14 days for stable products (hardware, fixtures), 7-10 days for semi-volatile items (plywood, pipes), and 5-7 days for volatile commodities (steel, cement, lumber).
Can I negotiate pricing? Yes. You can counter-offer on individual line items, request blanket discounts, adjust quantities, negotiate delivery terms, or partially accept a quote. All negotiation is version-tracked.
Orders and delivery
What payment methods do you accept? Bank wire transfers, post-dated cheques, cash on delivery, and letters of credit. We do not accept mobile wallet payments or online card payments.
When will my materials be delivered? Delivery timelines depend on material availability and your location. For Greater Cairo deliveries of heavy materials (5+ tons), deliveries are scheduled between midnight and 6:00 AM due to the Cairo Ring Road truck ban. Light deliveries can be scheduled during business hours.
Can I track my delivery in real-time? Yes. When your order status changes to "Out for Delivery," a live GPS map appears in your portal showing the truck's position and estimated arrival time.
What if my delivery arrives damaged? Report damage immediately with photos via WhatsApp or the portal. Accept undamaged items and annotate the delivery note for damaged ones. Under Egyptian Commercial Code Article 101, you have 15 days to formally notify us. Resolution options include partial replacement, credit note, or price reduction.
Platform and support
What languages does the platform support? Arabic and English. The platform is bilingual throughout — product names, documents, and Lyon AI in the portal app work in both languages. Tax invoices are generated in Arabic as required by ETA e-invoicing regulations.
Is the platform available on mobile? The customer portal and driver app are Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) that work on any device and can be installed to your home screen. Driver teams may also use the native mobile build where it is provisioned.
How do I contact support? WhatsApp, phone, portal chat, or email. Support operates Sunday through Thursday during Egyptian business hours. For account-specific AI help, use Lyon AI in the signed-in portal app.
